Asking Jabo to contribute anything is a futile and wasted effort. Plus his plugins are all DirectX based so theres that headache as well.

Fair enough.

littleguy77 was just curious as to what plugins were able to render 16:9, any ideas you guys can get from checking it out is at least something imo

As with the dynamic recompiler fixes, the good people at daedalusx64 seem to also have hacked in widescreen (and explain it).

Cool, so he just premultiplied the gl projection matrix I guess.  Maybe it isn't so hard to do then.  Add it to the list...  that never gets smaller :P

Hopefully the UI doesn't stretch too bad

And then there are the handful of games that natively support 16:9 (Banjo-Tooie). Anyway, with whatever features/fixes we may want to add, there's a good chance that daedalusx64 already has them :P

Bump, is there still interest in this feature? I would love it!

Also, there's probably some cheats that we could use to move the HUD to different parts of the 16:9 screen.

If I had time to burn, I could probably look into this, but I'm pretty busy right now just trying to get the version 3 UI overhaul finished.  Would always love to get more developers involved...
