Support / Missing folders?
« on: March 28, 2020, 08:05:51 PM »
Since the update my hires_texture folders have disappeared and the textures along with it. Are they in a new location, or do we no longer have access to them in the file browser?

Support / Gameshark code problem
« on: October 04, 2018, 04:00:27 PM »
I previously tried to use codes for virtual pro wrestling 2 on the emulator to no effect. Recently just messing around with it again i see the result is still the same, however i was able to get the same codes to work on the classic boy n64 emulator. Its saying it uses a mupen 64 plugin so im wondering whats the difference between the 2?

Support / Cheat codes unrcognized?
« on: August 13, 2017, 11:19:58 PM »
I'm trying to use cheat codes for virtual pro wrestling 2 to no avail. Ive used these codes on other emulators as well as a real console years ago. I believe there's some sort of confusion with verifying the rom name. Research led me to something about the rom header for Japanese games being written in different text code maybe being the cause of the hangup. FzuRita do you know how he cheat engine identifies the games? Or where the known game would be stored?

Support / texture file naming confusion?
« on: December 02, 2015, 12:41:32 PM »
Hey guys, been awhile but I've been testing things out again recently and have an issue I need help with. I'm trying to load hires textures for virtual pro wrestling 2, actually just one texture as a proof of concept. I can't get it to load using gliden64, I've tried numerous different  settings/folder names etc. Nothing is working for me. Background info, it works with the same plugin on pj64 for me. Also the naming confusion I state in my topic title is this:

Sra file and mpk name(sram data folder): Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 - Oudou Keishou (J) [!].mpk

Game data folder name(with sram data folder inside): ްl ڽ 2

Rice video dump folder name: ް ڽ 2

Texture name I'm attempting to load: ް ڽ 2#6CF0288A#2#1#6F134E0B_ciByRGBA

It's not even attempting to load the textures on boot, so I suppose it's something filename based?

Support / cheat engine issues?
« on: January 25, 2014, 04:17:29 PM »
Hey Paul , 1st of all I want to thank you for the wonderful progress you've made with your project. It's my default N64 emulator after a long run with n64oid. I've just started fooling around with adding my own codes to the cheat file. I've had some success and some issues here and there. I've been porting old codes from the emulator on my laptop and find that some of the codes work flawlessly and others dont work properly. Particularly with Wwf No mercy there's a mountain of codes available. The ones I havevissues with are the move hacks, they basically alter animations to create moves not in the game. A few work but it seems like most of them freeze the models, not the game play just the models. Im still in the trial and error phase however. Is the cheat engine any different than the ones for pc emulators?
