To map a controller not listed:
  • Open up the side bar, go to profiles then controller profiles.
  • In there use the top right button to create a new mapping.
  • Give it a name and hit ok.
  • Map your buttons in that screen
  • Go back to the main screen and open the sidebar again.
  • Go to settings then input
  • Select the profile you created for "controller 1 profile"

Can you provide the CRC, md5, good name, and region of both games? I can add then to the database.

There are a few things you can try to improve performance on the FZ version.
Go to settings, then audio, turn off synchronize audio and video.
Go to settings, then input, turn on high priority mode.
Go to profiles, then emulation profiles, try different ones. glN64 can be good on low end devices at the cost of accuracy.
Go to settings, then display, try lowering resolution

Ok, mempak should be working on those games. Are they hacks by any chance? It could be that they are not in the database.

Just curious, which games perform worse with the latest FZ version compared to the alpha version?

Thanks for the report, this is probably a new bug.

That would mean that either, we don't have cover art for those games on the server, you have bad ROMs, or your cover art download is corrupted.

Try deleting /sdcard/mupen64plus-fz/GalleryCache and rescan your game list.

Ok, open up the sidebar while in the gallery. Go to profiles, then controller profiles. From there, use the top right menu to create a new profile and give it a name then hit ok. You will be able to map buttons there. Once done mapping, go back to the gallery, open the sidebar, go to settings then input. Set the controller profile you created to controller 1.

Are the sticks not working at all?

Strange, the notification should let the emulator remain active even though it's in the background since it's a service. Do you have any apps the could be killing the service while the app is on the background?

Ok, are you killing the application while the notification says its saving the texture cache? The notification will go away on its own when it's done saving the cache.

Interesting, I'm not having any problems with GLideN64. Nothing should have changed in that aspect in GLideN64 for a long time.

What texture pack are you using?

Also, there are two caches. The first listed cache in GLideN64 is the video RAM texture cache. The second listed cache is b the RAM texture cache for loaded textures.

You shouldn't have to do that. Go to the top left menu in the gallery and choose settings then input. Make sure that there is only a controller profile selected for the first player and nothing else.

I was waiting on some additional fixes to get pushed to the mupen64plus-core. I was going to give it one more week, and if they don't make it, I'll go ahead and release.
