Is the flashing problem where the rendered foreground disappears every fraction of a second on occasion? (Ive never noticed that before now since i use Rice to take advantage of HD textures). Didnt happen on this branch in the time i spent playing it (only about 10 minutes).
Also i like the logo.:p

I could take a stab at writing one up with images and clear walkthroughs for both automatic and manual insertion (if the former doesnt work)

The only problem with texture pack unzipping is to do with the file structure within the zip file. And that is all down to the person releasing these packs. They will only be properly recognised if they are organised with the main folder name (nearly always the GOODROM name), and then maybe 1 or 2 subdirectories deep worth of folders. As long as the files within the first folder have the right code offset as the filename they should show up regardless of where they are within the directories. Also the game makes a big difference too lol.

The actual coding for hires texture extraction works but only when the folders are correct.

Id suggest using the LOZ community pack, its more complete but its also bigger at 640mb (or thereabouts)

Try getting the game from somewhere else (i cant suggest where cos that would be illegals) but one i aquired worked fine.

No usually they say which ROM to get, i think that one needs the US version of Ocarina of time

Edit: my method works fine for me.

The hires texture should be enabled by default (since having it enabled but no available pack for the game doesnt affect the compatability of any game ive tried), importing texture packs also sometimes doesnt work because of the way the files are structured within the archive (bad naming of folders basically). Ive had more sucess adding the folders manually than using the import function. But then again not everyone likes to tinker like i do :p so to each their own.

I find that loading it from .zip files doesnt work some of the time. Try manually installing the folder. Hires texture packs are really finicky and require a specific version of the game you are trying to play since thats where the offset values are generated from. Place the unzipped texture folder into the folder that my screenshot is posted to.

For some reason the iPega just shows up as a generic bluetooth gamepad under the analog info in mupen64+, so i guess the generic settings would work fine for it.

Looking good ;) well i played the only 2 games i own still and ripped (am planning to get another dreamcast again sometime) and MvC2 works amazingly well and sonic adventure 2 runs full speed but suffers with horrible graphics breaks every other second or so. But still to be able to bash around with the hulk on the old fighter is well worth it.

Support / Re: How to install HiRes Textures from Zelda OoT to Master Quest?
« on: December 19, 2013, 02:01:00 PM »
Basically the structure is based on the roms GOODNAME (or so i understand it), i think OOT and Master quest has different internal names, and therefore the folder which the textures are stored has to have the same name as the ROM, but even then the texture values would have to be directly taken from the game to work properly, so u would actually need a texture pack that was made from the master quest ROM itself (im not entirely sure though since they are basically the same game except the extra dungeons and whatnot). Ive always added my texture folders in manually rather than using the import function as i only ever got banjo kazooie's to work with that method. I post an SS as an example.

Would u like the values for the iPega bluetooth gamepad too?

Thats a bit strange. I dont know the shields specs but i assume its more powerful than what im using (samsung gt i9305 @ 1.7ghz quad) and apart from SSB which for some reason struggles to run >20fps without frameskip (possibly because of the texture packs im using) everything i throw at it runs at a near constant 50.
