General Discussion / Re: Beta Testing Has Begun!
« on: February 08, 2012, 02:37:36 AM »
I tested it quickly before I go out and it seems to work fine, it didnt forget any of my settings. I will test it again later to see if I get any issues.

I also noticed theres no option for screen clear so it still has to be done manually to fix the 'junk graphics' on qualcomm chipsets.

Ive seen plenty of root apps sold on the market? Or could it not be distributed on there because of one of the other limtations you mentioned?

Wow, I totally forgot to add those.  I'll put them in and see how it does (probably a lot better...)  Thanks for noticing that!

The frame skipping alone made a lot more games playable, with the optimisations added too I could see rice overtaking gles2n64 in performace. :D

Is there an option to force screen clear with rice? I get the same junk graphics with some games that gles2n64 gives me when that option is disabled.

Awesome find scorpio! After enabling frame skip with rice it runs much faster. :)

With n64oid is seems to have cheats for most games built in, when the menu button is pressed during a game there is a gameshark option that once pressed will show you a menu of cheats for the game you re playing. Im not sure how it detects what game you are playing though.

Programming / Re: need help understanding error/language

Im guessing the game with the issue is Minecraft based on the error log. Do you know what causes that error to pop up?

Unofficial Build - Mupen64plus (Bubble Build)

Read this first!
1. This build is not supported by the official developer
2. Is an xperia build so it only works on android 2.3+
3. Uninstall any previous version of my builds before updating to a newer one.

Changes
- Added gles2rice speed boost (thanks to scorpian16v for findng this)
- Uses high res icons made by shuy3n (looks great in the xperia launcher)
- Added swap analog and c buttons option (good for goldeneye)
- Reworded some menu options to make it more obvious what they do.

Bug fixes
- Fixed "Junk graphics bug" (forces screen clear)
- Stopped build sharing configs with official build
- Stopped build clashing with the official build (thanks for the help paul!)

General Discussion / Re: Custom Gamepad (and Touchpad) Layouts!
« on: January 29, 2012, 07:54:17 PM »
Fixed the R and Z buttons and made the stick as centred as I can with my crappy software. Anyway enough spamming, Im going to leave space for some real graphics designers. :P

For centering, the middle of the background image and the middle of the stick image must be the center of the graphic.

I know but the software I am using is called preview (which is built into the Mac by default) and its very basic so I cant tell if the image is centred or not. :(

Thanks, I also added them to the OP (not that they'd be hard to find anyway, since the thread is still short, haha)

I cant get the analog to center properly on the animated version but I updated it so its a bit better, I updated the image too.

EDIT: Just noticed I got the R and Z the wrong way round too haha, aw I am hopeless with graphics. :P

Sorry, I should have mentioned this, but the zip file must contain just the files for the pad layout (images and pad.ini file), not a folder containing the files.  I'll make the program smarter, so it can figure it out, but for now it is kind of picky.

Ah ok no probs I will change it now, I will upload the animated version while I am at it too. :)

EDIT: Fixed zipped files
