Not sure about blobbish style.

My idea would be to make main character as a simple puppet-like character which is made out of basic shapes, and enemies could drop voxels or something similar to equip character with morphing abilities.

Just a random idea: Could it be possible that character could have option to morph itself into some basic shapes (ball, cube, pyramid, etc.) and various materials by using some sort of energy or powerup for specific platform areas where physics might be important?

#10, it's pretty much different than anything else, but still relevant.
Icon #10, or Splash #10?
Icon, forgot to note. For splash, #9.

Great, you will need to use the app called setCPU (it is $1.99 on Google Play, but I think the dev has it listed free somewhere - the money is for donations as I recall).  Anyway, once you have it installed, in the bottom-right corner, it should show the governor.  You should have several options, including "OnDemand" and "Performance".  Run Mario 64 in "OnDemand" mode, to see if it is slow with choppy audio.  Then change to "Performance", and see if it still runs slow with choppy audio, or if the problem goes away.

--EDIT-- See the doccumentation for more info on setCPU.  This app is an absolute must-have for rooted devices IMO.

There are free alternatives in case that there's no free version of SetCPU (pretty much every free app which does overclocking on market should have such option and work normal just like SetCPU):

That one appears to be based on 1.9.2 from the menu options.  It's styled nicer than I did it :)

Wouldn't be better if you use term gaming peripheral instead?

I could only contribute in 2d graphics or at least level editing. Not sure if previous contributions I've sent long time ago apply.

Pandora is completely open so you have access to everything from the start including on-the-fly clockspeed changing.
Ah, nevermind about my post then.

Agreed. Would this also include the ability to set the cpu clock speed from within the gui as well?
Setting clock speed should be done with app which has that purpose, yet that it requires root. Not sure if pandora allows or requires that.

Works functional, 40 FPS, whole screen fits.
There are lag spikes (2 FPS) when music is on.

After running it once with completely clean release, it managed to work, but I couldn't re-define keys as it won't go up and down to set up.

Additionally, after trying to running it again, it quits like before so it's pretty much back to beginning for me.
