Support / Resume disappears from menu?
« on: March 01, 2012, 01:02:38 PM »
Hey Paul,
any reason why the 'resume' button would disappear from the menu?

I was checking out a 'Dr Mario' bug post and went to change the video. when i got back to the menu, the resume button was gone so i had to 'choose' a game.

This doesnt happen with 'banjo-kazooie' though.

Any ideas?

All saves states should be in

Sdcard/android/data/paulscode.android.mupen64plus/data/save/

copy the contents to your new phone :-)

Cheers for the update dude, I literally do not know how you find the time to keep everyone/everything so up to date. I'm in pure awe!

I might have a look at the source at some point, but I imagine it's all jargon to me... The only language I know is from the 70s and I'm in my 20s... go figure

Thanks again!

Programming / bored of Pick... :(
« on: February 29, 2012, 02:24:07 PM »
I work as a Developer in the UK for a builders merchant called Travis Perkins (TP) using a language called "Data Basic" (Pick) which is freakin' old (early 70s). I started as a trainee at TP, having no prior programming skill in any language (save for some tinkering in VB) and have been at it for 2 and a bit years. They still use this language for everything because it is so heavily integrated into the system.
To be honest, I'd love to get into something else but my job is pretty sweet so I don't want to jack it in. I was wondering if anyone has any tips for a guy looking to learn a more useful language. I was thinking Java would be a good start but without some sort of direction I feel I'll just get lost...

any tips, help, mini-projects would be appreciated... I'm just so f'ing bored of Pick

Majora's mask crashes for me too. Ocarina runs almost perfect for me, try playing around with the plugin settings

Hey, I was wondering a couple things about the plugins.

When the app updates, are plugins also updated?
Is there any plans to make 'profiles' for games (some games run with different plugins, diff plugin settings)?
Are there any other plugins to try other than gles2n64, v1.4 and gles2rice v0.0.9?

Cheers

Ok cap'n, never used a forum before but I picked up the format from one of the others. I'll add them as I try them.
Keep up the good work!
