Controller x360 issue
« on: May 12, 2013, 03:28:00 AM »
Hi Paul and all devs,

I'm experiencing mupen64plus since yesterday and I encountered an issue on my xbox360 wired USB controller i'll explain here.

Device: MK808B
CPU: RK3066
Resolution: 1920*1080
Rom: Finless ROM 1.7a rooted 4.1.1
App Version: Current market release
Plug-ins: N/A

Description: When playing Zelda OoT, the system has some problems considering simultaneous buttons/axis use :
"Z" trigger is mapped to left trigger
left stick : unchanged
"R" : unchanged

When I press Z and move while pressing R to protect me behind my shield, Link use and do not use shield very quickely, as if I was spamming the R button.

I hope I'm clear enough, do not hesitate ask me further informations.

And I apologize for my poor English, french would have been easier to explain ^^

Are you using an official Microsoft-brand controller, or is it another brand?

To help me diagnose the problem, could you please reset the controller mapping:
  Settings->Input->Controller->Profiles->Xbox 360
  Parametres->Controles->Manette->Profiles->Xbox 360

Do you still experience the problem after you do this?

If you still have the problem, then please do the following:
 1. Parametres->Controles->Manette->Infos stick analogique, and take a screenshot (or write down the text)
 2. Parametres->Controles->Manette->Informations sur la manette, scroll to the bottom, and take a screenshot (or write down the text)
 3. Parametres->Controles->Manette->Diagnostiquer la manette.
 4. Press the button combination that's giving you the problem.  You should see button presses appear on the left side of the screen, and analog motions on the right side.  If you observe strange behavior, describe what you see or upload a video.
