This can't be done right now. Once the upstream mupen64plus-core project gets N64DD support, so will this app. This may not be that far off since recently libretro-mupen64plus got N64DD support.

when we get it set up is it going to work on Android because I don't have a computer and I like 64dd games like Mario 64 2

Any update on this? I looked at the githubs but for the life of me can't figure what files represent 64dd support and what exactly the upstream is check if it's coming

No one is currently working on this, so it is no further along than it was before unfortunately.

Anyone know where the libretro-mupen64plus code is for dd?  Did a quick scan on GitHub but didn't see anything obvious in commit history either.

@Paul, if you have the time, go for it. Many people would love that. I think Luigiblood didn't feel like doing it because the interrupt system in mupen64plus was not very good. Also, I think he did take an initial crack at it here:
