having troubles with minecraft sound.

Hey. basically im having NO sound at all.

Looks like there is a problem with OpenAL on your system.  I have no idea if minecraft allows you to change the SoundSystem library plugin, but if so you might give LibraryJavaSound a try (although it is usually less compatible these days)  I can't help you much with minecraft since I was not involved at all in its development -- I've never even played the game in fact.  I wrote the SoundSystem library which the minecraft devs used.  You might try posting on a minecraft forum.
