Question about the controls for Xperia Play?
« on: December 24, 2011, 07:29:02 PM »
I posted this same question on XDA but I thought I would get a better answer here.

I just got the app for my xperia play and it runs very smoothly.

However, the problem I have is the left touch pad that controls the analog stick also activates the c buttons.

So for example: When I play Zelda OOT I will use the left touch pad to move link but if I press it wrong he will take out his slingshot.

I have tried remapping the controls and moving the c buttons to the d-pad but it seems the still exist in the touch pad. It seems the app does not allow remapping the controls for the touch pads.

Is there any solution to this?

Great app btw.

Are you using the latest version (this should be fixed)?  If you installed from the market, check if it can be updated, otherwise see the first post of Beta Testing Has Begun in the Announcements board above for the latest link.  If you are updated and still having the problem, I'll post a test for you to run to try and figure out why this bug is back again.
