This is the best I can do:(
@xperia64, how do you upload/post a screenshot? not done many before.. never needed too.
I know this isn't ideal so would be better if I knew how?

If you have a direct link to the picture (like you have in your last post there), just wrap it in [img] tags (and specify a width if it is a large image).  For example:

[img width=500]http://s9.postimg.org/dwdzjykhr/Screenshot_2013_11_03_01_46_43.png[/img]

Would come out like this:

Device: Samsung Galaxy Nexus i515
CPU: TI OMAP4460, 1.2 GHz (dual core, ARM Cortex-A9)
GPU: PowerVR SGX540, 307 MHz
RAM: 1 GB
Resolution: 720 x 1280
Rom: omni-4.4.4-20141014-toro-FML KitKat 4.4.4, rooted

Device: Eee PC 1015PEM
CPU: Intel Atom N550, 1.5 GHz (dual core, x86)
GPU: Intel GMA 3150, 200 MHz (dual core)
RAM: 2GB
Resolution: 1024 x 600
Rom: android-x86-4.3-20130725 Jelly Bean 4.3, rooted

LG G2

fog enabled:

fog disabled:

You can see that the fog gives the background a banding look.

Same result on my N7 (2013)

Semms a common problem of Snapdragon GPUs.

Looks like the same think-fog problem on the PowerVR SGX530 as on both my devices with PowerVR SGX540.

yep, lookin at the previous screenshots on this thread, it looks mostly powervr related.. ppsspp has still the same problems now with powervr  issues.
Supposedly the drivers are very poor for emulation.
I also have an xperia u which is currently being used by my m8.. I will get it back soon, I heard that the Mali GPU is part of the same family of GPU as powervr, be interestin to see if that has the same problems. On the whole adreno seem ok.

the Flicker reduction profile. A while back I made a quick n dirty mod that allowed me to set a custom bias.
Oh, right.  Sure I'll add that tomorrow after I finish publishing the 2.4.0 update.

Committed the requested feature to master.  Here is a test build to take a quick look (let me know if this is what you had in mind).  Sorry for getting off-topic.  We can start a new thread if it requires further discussion ;D

Paul I made some updates to both fog and zelda missing heart bug, if you get some times could you update the two test builds so I can get some feedback on this.

Sorry again for the delay.  Here is the latest build with the heart fix.  Please look for any graphics bugs that the fix might cause:

Rice Missing Heart Fix, Build #2

Also, the fog in this build may be fixed (fog can also test in the official 2.4.1 update which I'll have posted shortly).  At least it is now working perfectly for all my devices.

No problemo, thanks for updating.
Also I'm glad to ear fog is working fine on your devices, I got some headaches trying to fix this issue ;)

Well I just gave the latest  build a try in my optimus g pro and it does fix the heart issue, but not the arrows on the map :( fog looks the same with and without this build in my device.

Gles2n64-both hearts and arrows.

Without Latest debug no hearts nor arrows

Latest build, hearts but no arrows

P. D. Start menu keeps hanging on exit, changing screen update method to 'Vi origin change' sorta fixes it but introduces some graphics glitches.

After reading your post I just tried switching between the screen update methods with F1 Pole Position (E) and VI origin change makes the game responsive again with input accepted, strange that game region makes a difference :o F1 Pole Position (U) works with all modes except rom default and before screen clear which produces a black screen.

I'm glad to hear it worked for you too,  does it introduce the same graphic glitches that it does to me?
