hi res texture support planned for glide?
« on: December 01, 2013, 11:21:49 AM »
Havent used mupen64 for a while, so imagine my suprise when i try it out today and see that all my texture packs are now working properly with gles2rice...love that can now play banjo kazooie HD and SSB HD as well as see everything on mario kart. My question is will gles2glide get the same treatment (as some texture packs only work on the glide plugin)

But seriously whoever managed to fix the textures thank you :)

Yeah, it's on the TODO list but not as high a priority as some other things.  The hi-res texture feature has been disabled in the Android edition, IIRC because it would require quite a bit of porting by a graphics expert.

Our biggest focus right now is version 3, which will be focused on improving usability, reducing the amount of configuration that users need to do for every game.  There's a discussion thread in Developer's Corner part of the forum if you're curious.
