Disable auto save feature in Mega N64 (android)

Hi people, am using Mega N64 version 1.0.0 app in my android jelly bean, it works great as usual, dont like to update because newer versions have too much adds and stuff i dont want.

My problem is that i dont want the game autosave feature, every time am leaving some game it saves and it takes time and space, i dont need this feature, i never resume a game, just start from the beginning.

Is there a way to disable this auto save feature when i exit the game?

I do not know if mega N64 uses the same interface as mupen64plus fz but if so you can disable the auto-save option in the sidebar, first go to settings and then choose data and there you will find the option max autosaves per game change it to 0 to disable the self-saved.


Edit: I have tried that app a bit and apparently do not have an option to disable the auto-save, I recommend download Mupen64plus Fz since apart from being more updated here if you can disable the auto-save as many games that do not work well in mega64 if they do Mupen64plus Fz

Thanks, i'll try it, hope it does'nt have adds or malware as other newer versions i had.

Problem is too many adds in the app from Play Store, is there another site to download a clean mega n64 app?

I can not provide a link to download the latest version of MegaN64 because this forum is dedicated to Mupen64plus versions Ae and Fz, but I can put a link to download the latest version of Mupen64Plus Fz which has no advertising and has just been updated recently (a few hours ago actually)

Sorry, forget that you mentioned that your device had jellybean and that version of android stopped being supported in the emulator makes several versions, that's why you get the message that your device is not compatible.

Try this, it is a modified old version that Francisco (developer of Mupen64plus Fz) sent me some time ago should work on your device

Do you need to activate the Unknow sources option on your device? since if you have this option disabled you can not install apps outside of play store, you can disable it in settings> security> unknow sources, try it and see if it lets you install it

It is strange I downloaded it and had no problems installing it, try to search in google version 3.0.123 of Mupen64plus Fz this is the last one where your android version had compatibility.

Thank you very much, it works like a charm, far superior compared with play store version known as Mega 64, my issue is solved, thankyou all for your help, and keep the good work with N64 emulation
