My feeling is that i-devices will continue to get harder and harder to jailbreak, until it can no longer be done. At that point, the app would become obsolete, and a huge amount of development time to write the front-end would have been wasted. Additionally, I believe that Android (or possibly Windows mobile) will win out in the mobile market, and not iPhone. The reason I believe this is that Apple's success in this market is built entirely on the name. Eventually something else more faddish sounding (probably built on Android at it's core) will emerge and mark the beginning of the end for the iPhone.
All that said, the project is open-source, so I would be happy to give a developer or two access to the repository if they wanted to tackle an iOS port. I have no plans to tackle this myself in the foreseeable future.
