PS4 controller analog input
« on: August 28, 2018, 06:15:47 PM »
Hi

Apologies if this has been posted already, but I can't seem to find anything on it in the controller FAQ or other threads.

I've got my PS4 controller connected to my phone (galaxy s8) via Bluetooth. No apps, just a straight connection. I'm trying to map the right analog stick to the C buttons, but it never seems to register moving it into the Right or Up positions without first messing around with the Right and Left triggers. It says the PS4 analog input was fixed in the latest update, but I'm still having issues.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I've just seen the issue is exactly the same as this one (although explained somewhat better than I did...)

Did this issue ever get a workaround?

Make sure you are using the latest version of the app here:

Hi sohail574,

I had the same problem a while ago but had success in remapping my PS4 controller correctly by downloading an app called Bluetooth Auto Connect from the playstore and enabling it's Debug setting, which fixed the remapping issue.

I've posted a guide near the top of this forum that may help you, otherwise I'd suggest connecting it via USB using an OTG cable.
