Minecraft thing

Sooo basically I had closed minecraft on my Raspberry Pi 4 (a small, cheap computer meant for programming) using MultiMC which was what i used to launch it and It gave me a link to this website. I'm going to keep this account and browse the website but I'm still confused and I hope someone can give me an answer as to why I was given a link to this website.

I'm in a similar situation, my school has unpackaged Minecraft installations that say they come from this website, I came here to help the teacher get installation for the lab's new computers.
