Pokemon Stadium for Mupen64 0.5.1 won't work
« on: January 20, 2015, 12:53:41 PM »
i just downloaded Pokemon Stadium to play on Mupen64 but for some reason everytime I try to load the rom a notification pops up that says "unknown task: type:2 sum:74a02 PC:81cbb0"
I'm not sure how to fix this so I was wondering if someone could help me. Thanks.

I would add that Pokemon Stadium runs fine in recent versions of Mupen64Plus (Mupen64 0.5.1 was published back in 2005).  You might look at switching emulators if you want better compatibility.  Mupen64Plus is a bit more to get going for most folks initially, since it doesn't ship with a GUI front-end (there are some nice third-party ones, though, if you don't like launching and configuring via the command prompt)
