Greetings, Paul.
As you may already know, I'm always available to grant my contribution to this project and the community, so I was wondering if there's more that needs to be translated into the Portuguese (Portugal) language so I can get busy again.  :)

Hey Paul i can translate to italian since it's my native language, anyway you should make text files with english part and update them everytime you put something new, this way translations would be faster.

I posted the current strings.xml as a public Google doc for now (haven't have time to mess with a dropbox yet):

strings.xml(English)

This should give everyone something current to work with to update your translations.  Just select all and past into your own document, and start translating.  Once I have a dropbox set up, you'll be able to just save them in there for folks to access and make improvements, etc.

A couple notes:

Each string in the file looks like this:
Code: [Select]
<string name="dl_finished">Finished</string>You only need to translate the word(s) in between the xml tags (in this case, "Finished").

You do not need to translate the app name.  In fact, you don't have to translate every single thing, especially if something is too technical or is already understandable as-is in the target language.  Anything that is not translated will appear in the app as it shows up in the strings.xml file I posted here.  For the "Language Strings" section, translate all the language names into the target language.  for the "Native Language Strings" section only translate the target language (add it if it doesn't already exist).

If you have any questions or need any clarification to be able to translate something, just let me know.

Ok, I set up a shared dropbox, and sent invitations for write access to the folks on this thread who either did a translation or expressed an interest in doing one.

If anyone else wants write access to do a translation or edit an existing one, just let me know.  Alternately, you could download the values/strings.xml file, do a translation, and just email it to me or something, if you don't want to play around with dropbox.

Everybody should have read access to the translations without needing to be invited.  Just follow This Link.  If you have any problems accessing it, let me know.
