How I got Conker's Bad Fur Day to work.

Without taking the extra step, Conkers Bad Fur Day will be very sluggish and will run at <5 frames. This is how I got it to run at a playable speed.

Video Plugin: gles2Glide64

Video Settings
  • Display Framerate: Never
  • Frameskip: No more than 5 frames

Input Settings > Touchscreen
If you have a wireless controller that is compatible with Mupen64Plus AE, go into the Touchscreen menu, and uncheck the "Enable Touchscreen" box. This will also increase speed, but not by a significant amount. If you don't have a controller, then do this.
  • Joystick Animation: Never
  • Button Style: Outlines
Try to make your button scale as small as possible, while still being playable. For my Galaxy S5, I have the button scale set at 150%.

With these settings, you can get CBFD to run at a fluctuating 15 FPS, which is a playable speed.
