Full screen for Android 3.X/4.X?
« on: March 11, 2012, 09:11:22 PM »
I'm currently running Mupel64Plus on my Touchpad with a CM9 alpha release (based on ICS/4.0.4) using a DualShock 3 controller and I love it, as it's perfect for emulating old console games, with its 4:3 aspect ratio. The only issue is, Mupen64Plus doesn't seem to handle full screen on tablets, as the bottom menu bar is always enabled, which causes black bars on the sides (unless you enable screen stretching, which as a purist, ewww haha). I was hoping this is something that could be added into future releases, because I'd love that extra screen real estate

Here is a screenshot as an example:

So is there any chance this feature could be added into future revisions?

I'm working on adding a "zoom" setting, which would maintain the aspect ratio at the cost of losing part of the frame on whichever side gets stretched to off-screen.  This should be in one of the next couple of updates (not a priority feature, but very simple to add, so I'll write it soon)
