A button lock feature?
« on: October 20, 2012, 07:54:21 PM »
Is there an add-on or configuration for Mupen64Plus that will allow me to lock a button? I have 2 touch points on my Fire gen 2, and I'm stuck early on in Banjo Kazooie. In the meantime, I'll be roaming Whoopie World. My favorite games are a whole new challenge on Android.

There isn't an option for this.  Any button (except for Home) can be disabled in the code though.  You'd have to build the app from source to make the necessary changes though.

Hello. I don't need it disabled, I need it to lock. I'd like a new button that I can hit so that the next button I hit is locked until I hit the locked button again. BK requires me to hold Z while moving the joystick and hitting A.

Oh, gotchya.  Yes I am working on adding this in (no way yet).  There will be two new button behaviors: turbo (rapid on-off action while holding a button down) and toggle (touch on, touch off).  I'll move this up on my priority list since I remember saying I would do this a long time ago but sort of forgot about it.

No hurry. I just figured out that I wasn't stuck. Sometimes I'm an idiot. Still, the lock feature would make some things easier.
