OUYA Artwork Competition!

Sure, I'll consider splash 1 and 2 to be the same vote, if you will create both versions of the image if you win the competition.

I should have mentioned, that whoever wins the splash screen vote, I'll probably ask to help with some modifications, depending on the actual requirements for the OUYA shop and game menu.

Voting starts now!  Everyone has a vote (even if you submitted an entry, you may vote for yourself or someone else).  Please vote for one icon and one splash screen.  I've numbered them for easy reference, and I tried to keep pairs that are similarly themed together.  You don't have to vote for both the icon and splash as a pair (you can mix and match if you like).  If there is ultimately a tie, I'll be the tie breaker.  If I missed anyone, or put the wrong name by an entry, please let me know right away, and I will fix the problem as soon as possible!

There's a couple I like but Gleasonator's looks the most slick and pro in my opinion.

I like Just.Danne's as well but the theme reminds me more of an Atari/Sinclair than an N64.

Yes, please post the number for the icon and the number for the splash screen (two components being voted on).  If anyone has questions for the artists, or any comments, feel free to post those too.  Just don't forget to write the numbers you vote for (so it is easy to count).  I'd do it as a poll, but then it would get buried after a few comments.

Well done on the artwork everyone!  Gleasonator's first splash looks terrific, but I should probably vote for my own creations.

EDIT: Just checked my original post and found that I did indeed submit my other splash like I thought I did.  The style is identical to the one that was included so I don't think it would have made a huge difference anyway.

Lot of great entries but Gleasonator's Icon #1 and Splash #2 get my vote.  Splash 2 really makes an impact on me.  Really artistic arrangement, yet simple and professional.

All of the images submitted have been sized to fit in the Ouya's frontend, and designed with Ouya in mind. It's ridiculous to expect every single banner in the Ouya store to have a brushed-metal background and say "Ouya Edition" in the Ouya font.

You already know you're using an Ouya, you don't need the banner to remind you. The banner's job is to look elegant and blend in with the frontend nicely.
