Non animated touch controls?
« on: December 18, 2011, 01:09:19 PM »
I cant seem to find a way to enable the non animated touch controls in the options. I seem to remember hearing that this gave a small speed boost to though with lower end devices?

Am I blind or were they removed from the emulator? :P

EDIT: never mind I found that the non animated ones are labelled as "touch" in the skins section.

Yes, they are in separate layouts.  I left them in for the potential slight performance improvement they give (although probably the best thing is to disable the virtual game pad all together and use a separate joystick).  At some point I will implement the virtual game pad through GLES rather than the sluggish Android API.
