But Paul do you know what my problem is with n64oid...
It even don't installs maybe you should try it on your xperia play
Maybe it works your phone (because on all my friends phones it dont works too : HTC Desire HD / Samsung Galaxy Mini / Samsung Galaxy Ace / Samsung Galaxy Apollo / Samsung Galaxy Y.)
Its kinda strange even the emu BIT64 doesn't install on that phones
bit64 and n64oid use armv7 which those phones dont have. You need like a samsung gs or higher for those. As far as contacting yongz for to support your device, good luck haha ;p if you want to emulate n64 i suggest investing in better hardware :) eg galaxy s or higher although i see one of your friends had a desire hd, so maybe there is a problem with htc and n64 though i doubt it.. But as for the wildfire you can forget it, not even worth it imo.. Small screen and slow

You could always ask Yongzh to write one for N64oid, since he has great experience writing a brand-new video plug-in from scratch, and is very concerned about supporting folks with older devices and the open-source community  :P
oh the beauty of irony ;) or was that sarcasm heheh

I don't actually own an XPeria Play (I'm considering getting one, but my phone is a Droid X).  Obviously I was joking about Yongzh supporting users with older devices (and the other things).  N64oid will not work on pre-ARM7 devices, and there's probably a snowball's chance of convincing him to write a GLES1 video plug-in.

Bit64, N64 Arcade, and a couple others that used to be on the Android market (I forgot the names) are all hack-and-pack rip-offs of early versions of N64oid, probably using tools like dex2jar and jd-gui to decompile the Java source, altering, recompiling, and repackaging with the original .so libraries into a new .apk.  That's why they all have the same features and limitations (and look nearly identical as well).

I'm going to call it a day (head is swimming from staring at the screen).  Sorry to everyone waiting for the update - it will be a little longer.  I'll work on it some more tomorrow evening after work.

For N64 games you might want to look at the iControl pad, The gametel doesnt really have enough buttons although it certainly looks a lot better than icontrolpad.

Interesting.  Is that a touchpad in the bottom-center, or just an indentation in the plastic?

Yeh, didn't think it was a touchpad.  Well, at least the emulator should support that out-of-the-box assuming the Android app emulates it as a keyboard (presumably it does)

Like I said before, if you wanna play games on your android phone and you cant afford an xperia play the next best thing is http://www.icontrolpad.com/

Its got two analog sticks too which is great for n64 and PS1 games, I just wish it looked as good as that other controller.

well guys back to the topic before. I installed the app but i had some problems, the first great thing is that the game started (super mario 64) but the touchscreen didnt react, there were no buttons expect the circle on the left, but i wasnt able to use it. the music was very laggy, which is not a problem for me, i dont care about the music as long as i can play without laggs. i have the samsung galaxy ace and i try to find another emulator to play n 64 games on my ace, because n64oid doesnt work. i can install it, but everytime i open a rom it turns into a black screen and the app gets closed. Is there any other emulator so far, which makes it possible to play n64 games on my ace?
